I really looked hard in buying this PC. Bestbuy sells it for $1023.xx. I bought it on Amazon ... via "tekgalaxy.com" (w/Free shipping) for $725.xx - TOTAL! So far, I'm thrilled with the price and with this machine.
My adult stepson, (who's a techie), talked me into getting Windows 7. I'm so GLAD I listened!
I had earlier purchased my disk for TurboTax 2012. The Turbotax packaging does not indicate that Windows 8 is compatible with their software. [ I've also heard of some other incompatibly issues with Windows 8.]
The HP Compaq 8200 Elite is awesome ... I wish it had more then a 500GB hard drive, but for the price, an all-in-one with a 23" monitor, webcam, dvd drive, wifi, wireless mouse & keyboard, etc., etc. is fantastic!
I haven't found any negatives yet ... I've only had this PC for 1 week.

This is my first all in one and it was very easy to setup. So far its running perfectly and I like the no clutter on my desk. This surely beats my old setup and would recommend this to everyone.
